Mine eat lots of vegetation from the garden. What they don t eat mixes with the poo & keeps the smell down. deep litter. I shovel it out in October & put it in my garden.

I'll feel better when we make a plan with the teacher. His trouble times are centers (unstructured play), hallway/bathroom, and not following instructions. He does not get in trouble for naps, keeping his hands/feet to himself, disruption during learning times, or being disrespectful. So I feel like that gives us some insight and direction.

When I picked up the kids the teacher said she would call, but she didn't today. Maybe tomorrow.

About meds, someone in Sally's house recommended letting him have some coffee first. If he mellows with caffeine, then we could "treat" that way.

Granny did that to Robert... She says it works.

That's what I did with mine. My birds got all my scraps... Whatever vegetation scrap they didn't eat got added to the deap litter to help the compost process. It worked great. Cut our bill down too.

Hermine isn't really that close. But look how close I am to Kiki!

Maybe he just isn't ready for pre school. Some kids just mature a lot slower.
X 2 - boys, generally, mature more slowly than girls.

Hi, everyone.

Hi, chickie!
That's a great idea. When we were kids, socialization was the whole point of Kindergarten! Now they want them to have skills before they can enter K (sitting still, following directions, holding a pencil, know alphabet and counting and colors, cut with scissors.) My guys had extremely limited preschool, and both started K at before 5 yrs. Little bit of a slow start, but by the end of the first semester, they were good. Socialization happens. Mostly what they got from preschool were viruses!
Yes - it is crazy how much "kindergarten" has changed, isn't it? I think that a lot of parents choosing to delay kindergarten is in response to the change as so many kids just aren't ready for all they are throwing at them at that age.
