Just popping in while I wait for MIL to show - off to the island for some produce today. Have to giggle, this particular island has a beach area that is "clothing optional" - pretty sure it isn't going to extend into the pumpkin patch, but that could sure make for some interesting produce jokes.....maybe just not on a trip with the MIL.......
Think DS and I are going to venture across the river tomorrow - there's a great supermarket over there that has a huge bulk food section and I need to stock up on a few key pantry items and some more things for my spice cupboard (and FIL is coming for dinner Sunday so I'm making big pot of chili, need stuff for that). He and I haven't had a chance to really go do anything since school started so this will give us a chance to talk about how everything is going maybe beyond his usual one word answers when he gets home after school every day.

sounds like fun and NOTHING like a captured audience (in car) for a good visit.

she has a black beak and I haven't seen any cresteds with that color beak. She also has black marks on the bottom of her feet.

I've only seen the spray stuff at school carnivals, so am assuming it's fairly safe.  I have a kooky aunt that used to dye her mostly white cat pretty pale colors.  The effect was actually pretty cool, but I would worry about him eating it when he groomed. 

I woody about the spray flaking. My dyes called Manic Panic and it don't seem toxic but u have to leave it in for a while then rinse it. She wouldn't agree to all that lol. I wanted to paint her toe nails to, lol.
