Mine were not mean but at 4 months they were crowing. I had a new batch growing up so I had my hubby do the deed.

I waited too long. Found a patch of green meat and threw the whole thing away. Made me sick looking at it. No way I was gonna eat it.

Granny, you re doing same thing as me. Having to make hard decisions. I can only have 32 chickens this winter. Must get them out of the dog kennel.

Do you know how many you have ? I dont mind them staying but I found my rooster with his tail gone and a little bit of blood . I watched for a while and dont know who is guilty.

Camping, my other young barred roo is turning red barred rhodabar 1st generation. I finally caught the other one when he got stuck in the hogwire fence trying to get away from me. Now i just have to evict the bo roo from the br hen dog kennel.

That's awesome! :yesss:

I have to pick a rooster and rehome or eat a few. They really dont have meat on the polish.  I am disappointed in them. The best looking one is a silver lace but I also have a buff apple spitter roo and a white hen maybe 2. But I dont want to separate them and have another cage to tend this winter.  I dont know what to do.

Pick the easiest thing.

She's been that way since the spring. It started as overbreeding big then I think she was getting picked on the roost, and now will molt. Both roos are young and spurs aren't big yet. It's too hot for saddles.

There are a couple chocolate babies, one black, some lighter gold ones, and that blue imposter! :love

blue coat ? I never used it before so I have no idea.  I seen that blue ! Looks silkie almost. LOL

I tried it earlier and it didn't seem to help. She's been isolated for three weeks in the broody house and not even pin feathers. Soot is getting her feathers back. Since I have less now I'll spray them again.

I want the one that has the best chance to throw some tolbunt coloring. I am not good at that.
If someone can tell me how to spell this other rooster I have I would like to look them up and get an idea of what to sell him for.
