The wild California poppies come up in the spring rains and last through most of the summer. They have a taproot that looks like a mini carrot. Very pretty when there is a field of poppies mixed with purple.blue lupines.

There was a hummer over there with me today. Looked like the ruby except it didnt have a red throat and Might of been just a hair bigger. It was nosy about me. Kept flying in my face.

My medicine was due for a refill friday. Good thing I still have some cause I'm not sure I have gas to go pick the script up. I still have 13 so not too bad. I guess.

Those hummies are very territorial. I tried putting a feeder out, and one little tyrant would let any others near it. When I water out in the chicken yard, there is one that comes and inspects my work. If I use a mist, he will fly through it. Big personality in a tiny body!
