LOL and chickens have the same number of toes as yaks. only les legs.

We caught a Cinnamon Queen in the maternity ward yesterday so I caught her with a fishing net and clipped both her wings. Honestly if I wasn't so short on layers I would have "clipped" something else.

did you decide if you were going to order more this year ?

also with my luck I would hatch 40 roos and 2 pullets. At least the hatchery is better at that part

LOL - and if they do they'll just make their own adjustments to it anyway.............

Oh and we loaded an old trans am on to the trailer and I hauled it into town. The goats have been playing king of the mountain on it. It's Gene's sons. They were only supposed to store it out there for a couple months and that was 5 or 6 years ago.

Stupid goats were still playing on the roof of it after it was on the trailer and we were strapping it down.

I love goats! That sort of thing is exactly why.....

why cant you/people just throw the hay over the fence ?

Waste - lots and lots of waste. They walk on it (if it's at all wet that works it into the mud), pee/poop in it, it gets scattered everywhere instead of eaten, etc -- and that drives the cost of keeping the animals way up.
