Bye guys!! Thank you for your help. I have a to do list now. First I am going to look for patterns and price how much the aprons will cost to make. I will determine how many I will make based on the price. Then I am going to do some thrift store shopping for neat bowls to do the succulent things for those I can't afford to do the aprons for and for cool containers for all the butt rub I will make. Then once I decide on a name I will make cute labels for the jars for all the guys. That should keep me busy for a bit.

Went to Walmart and got a pattern and stuff to make Brandon's special chili dogs tonight. The pattern was only 97 cents. Debating going to hobby lobby to see if they have the fabric.
Brandon's chilli dogs are bun, hotdog, chilli, French fries cheese and coleslaw all piled up. It's actually pretty good stuff.
Dad wants me to mow soooo there's that. Seahawks are on and kicking butt.

Oh the agony! and most of the 4th quarter left to go!

There is a huge wildfire in the northern part of the county, and just as I was coming home, a smaller grass fire started very near my neighborhood. Only about a mile away. Several bomber planes are working the fire and the sheriff's helicopter must be dipping it's bucket into Lake Ilsanjo. I was watching (from the Safeway parking lot) the heli drop water between the smoke and a house up on the hill. A few of us watching thought it was close to being out, but now that I'm home, even though I can't see it, I can still hear the bomber planes making passes. That's not good! They were on it very early, and must have pulled some planes off the big fire to fight this one while it's small. Hope they can do it. Two big fires would not be good. IT is hot, dry and worst of all, WINDY. Can you tell I'm more than a little jumpy about this?? I've said it before, Sept, is the hardest month.

One good thing, the temp is about 8 degrees cooler than predicted, only 91 today, so every degree helps... wind seems to be decreasing a little too. But those planes are still flying!! They had a huge bulldozer headed up toward the park, where the fire is. Got to keep it out of the trees. I'm nervous. Might drive back into town to watch the planes.
