Linda, it was cold out there. Constant wet wind, about 55° so not sure what the wind chill factor would be, but pretty darned cold. Very few people brought warm clothes. Stood out there for over 2 hours. My ears hurt! #2 said, I think it's kind of dumb to go to a meet and spend twice as long driving as you do at the event. We were supposed to go to another meet on Sat in Half Moon Bay, about the same distance away, but to the south. #2 doesn't feel up to it.

It was cold!! He is hoarse this morning from breathing so hard plus the asthma and then standing around in the wind. At least my child had some clothing with him!

His high school is a small school (based on # of total students) so they compete against other small schools, since it gives you a smaller pool of athletes. I think the entire town of Point Arena has about as many people as our high school. That's why it takes so long to get there... out in the middle of fargin nowhere!

Cool here this am. Stayed outside longer than usual.
Dd brought food home from work but left it in van so chickens ate it.

Chilly here too - looks like it's going to stay that way all day and get cooler and wetter as the weekend rolls by.
Where does DD work? Bummer about it ending up having to go to the birds.....

BTDT - the designation of school as far as the sports "leagues" makes for some long road trips at times.

i don't mind doing the laundry,just don't like putting it away when it's done..

I get off easy there - DS's goes to the bottom of his stairs in a basket, DH's gets set on the foot of the bed and then I just have to put way my own plus bedding/linens.
