Camping, I have 5 extra roos in my LF coop and cant bring myself to do a thing.
OH, Reminds me. Pzipped that I got the buff apple spitter from offered me a hen if I want to bring that roo back. It was a gift to begin with and said she would take my extras to the ohio nationals for auction if I wanted to.

I just answered the pm, which probably makes it seem like I went back to lurking! My secret to taking pics is I take LOTS. Then I erase most of them and keep the one or two that are reasonably good. Treats help keep them around, but mine are used to me being out in their yard when I water. They're used to the dogs too.

Absolutely - the joy of digital pictures is you can take HUNDREDS and then pick out two or three that you actually like.

Morning everyone! I logged on awhile ago... and then the phone rang.

My dad has plans for the old farmhouse. The plans involve my sister moving out and his sister moving in. It is a good plan except for one thing... my sister does not know about it! Hahahaa..... ha... oh jeez. It would be nice if they spoke more than twice a year.

Sunny and 70s today. Very nice. Best weather of the year is in October. Old hens are molty, some are broody, very few are laying eggs. Got one big egg and one bantam egg yesterday. Guess I better start hoarding eggs. If the 2 new pullets that Buster raised from chicks start before winter, then we will be good. The EE pullet is a skittery critter, poor thing. The blue Wyandotte is beautiful. Hope she lays better than my old SLWyandotte did.

I'm a nervous wreck. Devin and Kyle are about to pick up his car. He's gonna attempt driving it home on the freeway. He's never been on the freeway. Lol is this how I'm gonna feel when my kids get their drivers liscense.

How exciting! The freeway is no joke, especially the first time.

Glad you quoted that, mare. I didn't craft any more today. I focused on cleaning the house. So tomorrow! I need to paint a lot of bottles so I can tie them/wrap them after the kids go to bed. I'm out of the screws that I like, but if I get all the pieces then I can get the screws later I guess... That seems awful chancy.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get 2 more trays and maybe 3 more of those farm signs. Then I'll have to move on to the scrap pile and see what's out there. I had a project lined up, but I don't know if I want to finish it. I'm trying to fit with bestie's theme.

Long day - 5 hours roundtrip, three tons of hay safely stacked in the barn, yummy lunch with mom and visiting sister and home safely.....think I'll go get some sleep, finish catching up tomorrow....have a wonderful night, all!

Mornings, I am up way too early. Had to potty and my bed was soaked from sweat and didnt want to lay in it so here I am.
The GS in the tent is in my chair. Figured he would be but its showing 70 in here without the heat being on so it cant be too cold out. Might have something to do with the horror stories he hear about the bear loose in the proving grounds or bob cats , mountain lions. OH MY !

At least I know he is ok. LOL Of course it will be some manly excuse like traffic or too bright out.
Wishing , would like to see a demo of that hand ?

Im sorry about all the ranting yesterday. I did it, erased it and ended up doing it again. I thought I could just pretend everything was ok when it wasnt. Im sure today will be a better day.
