does the rain forest stink ?

This is a temperate rain forest, not tropical. It has lovely big conifer trees and lots of big ferns and moss everywhere. Smells very earthy. If you want to see a tropical rain forest, and stay in the US, you'll have to some to Hawaii with me. Lots of broad leaf plants, big branched trees, flowers everywhere... drippy and humid and mosquitoey too. Very beautiful, but that where I smelled some stink. Under a massive mango tree... squishy rotten fruit covered the ground, smell so strong, it was nauseating. Long time before I tried a mango after that.

Yes, not getting sick like i was thinking. Just need more sleep. Heard from the person about the Seramas. She will get them on Sunday... I'll meet her part way. At first I was sad... going to miss those guys running around the yard. Then they came over and crowed at me while I hung the laundry, and I was much less sad! At 5 am in the morning, I will be ecstatic that they are going.
