**GRAPHIC PIC** chick w/ egg gunk attached (I think it's OK)

Is there anything I can do to help this little showgirl chick? It just popped out, and it has something stringy that seems to be attached between it and the egg.

its its yolk sack and its not asorbed all of it yet keep the incubator closed and leave it alone it should be ok!

It should be fine just try not to jack with it.

Normal. The string attaches it to the inside of the egg and gunk is probably part of the membrane. Think of it like the umbilical cord on a baby human or other mammal. I've had plenty hatch like that and sometimes the string doesn't detach but dries hard so they run around with the bottom part of their egg dragging behind them. When I remove them I just pull it loose and they are fine.

Maybe if a showgirl chick is a roo it will be a Chickkendale instead of a Chippendale.
