Grass alternatives for the winter, is this what I should buy?

One day it was raining pretty hard over the summer and I was carrying water to the geese, I stepped on the side of a hold my dogs dug and slipped, spilled the water all over me and had mud and cuts all over my legs and arms and hands. The things we do for the babies!

Amazing we're all still in one piece. I bet they got a good laugh out of it though. I think I could hear everyone chuckle when I slid down the hill. Whats funny is when I got up everyone ran down the hill and towards their houses.
