I just thought you all might get a kick out of this picture. Our girl goes out to see the chickens with me every morning and loves to share their treats. It is so funny to watch them practically pull the food from her mouth. She is so gentle with them.

I would love to have one some day. I have a friend who has a GD that looks just like yours. I tell my wife that one of these days we are getting one !

How much should we expect to pay for a GD puppy ? Any idea ?

Thanks everyone. She is our first homebred champion. We are so proud of her in so many ways. Her temperment is to die for.

I*eat*chickens*yum, if you are looking for a great dane from and ethical breeder, you shold plan on spending between $1500 and $2000. This is the average price at this time. Please contact me if you need any help finding a breeder. There are very few ethical breeders here in Maine and also very few shows coming up where you could meet some of the out of staters.
