I have been trying to candle my eggs but haven't had too much luck with the light sources I had on hand. So I went to home depot to find a flashlight with a little more umph to it. What I found was a Husky heavy-duty 12 LED.
I wasn't sure it it would do the job but the size and shape of it was right. Got it home and what difference. I could see the eggs that I couldn't see thru before. I works great! I now believe I have 9 out 12 good eggs. Still going to candle again at 10 days just to be sure. And the price was right at only $6.00. You just can't beat it.
