I'm glad all is well!! How is your Tuesday so far (after the doctor, lol)?

good i got a new doc a few months ago bc my old one kept making me do blood draws every 3 months ... i hate needles! i have 2 tattoos but that is something totally different... this doc just does a urine sample...much nicer

I've got something (I guess) that I've been dealing with since late 2023. It started with severe chronic hives that were there almost 24/7 for 7 months straight. I went to the ER once because my face was swollen shut and they were in my throat.

That all progressed into a whole array of other unpleasant symptoms. My doctor and I both felt like it was lupus, but the tests were negative for that. The many tests actually turned up absolutely nothing. No hives since July 2024, but I still have widespread pain and some other vague stuff. But still no clue why.

oh no im sorry that happened ! i bet it was really awful but maybe it wont come back and was just your body being weird

Wow, glad the hives have stayed away but no diagnosis? And still problems over a year later...

I sure hope so. They started the week before Christmas of 2023. So last December and again now, I'm super nervous they'll show up, lol.

Yeah, she ran every blood test she could imagine. Autoimmune stuff, cancers, routine, you name it. All normal. Then my OB ran her own panels, again all normal. The widespread pain possibly points to fibromyalgia, but there isn't just a simple test for that. So I'm not sure. Thank you!

so what is everyone up to today ?

Well, I just got my cochin chicks in the run. They're 4 weeks today. I've got 8 confirmed cockerels, 4 confirmed pullets, and 2 that may be pullets but need some time still. Not a great ratio, but I'll find homes for the boys.
