Hi, everyone! I'm a newbie here to the Forum but am privileged to be apart of this vast group of chicken freaks. I do not know very many things about posting, adding pictures, uploading files, etc., so if anyone has any good starting tips for me, I'd be obliged.
I live in the Piedmont of NC and own 13 chickens: 2 Silver-laced Wyandotte pullets, 1 White-faced Black Spanish bantam cockerel, 1 Red Pyle Old English Game bantam cockerel, 1 Mille Fluer bearded d'Uccle cockerel, 2 presumably Rhode Island Red pullets, 1 White Bearded d'Uccle pullet, 1 Buckeye cockerel, 1 Spangled Russian Orloff cockerel, 1 White Jersey Giant cockerel, and 2 White Leghorn cockerels. As you can see, I have an excess of cockerels and am thinking about getting rid of one of the White Leghorns via the dinner table. I am thinking about breeding either Orloffs, Sumatras, or Cornishes in the future.
I would love to chat with any fellow newcomers, as well as any experienced users who are willing to help me out. Happy chickening!
