Hi all! I’m in the very early stages of figuring out how to do this - I have wanted chickens for DECADES, but my husband did not, and it wasn’t a hill I was willing to die on.

But he is FINALLY coming around! And I’m not wasting the moment.

About me - I’m 57, I’ve been a working artist and writer for over 30 years, and I have two adult-ish children. My escape from life is my garden, which is more “tiny urban farm” than “English Cottage”, which my neighbors actually love. Free fresh herbs!

anyway, I’m going to lurk and learn and I am really excited to be here!
