Loved your picture of the runners. Of course, I love everything about runners. Okay, not so much all the messes they make, but everything else. I like to watch them interact with my chickens; one of my drakes, especially, believes he should run off all chickens -- and all sparrows and starlings. But yesterday, the geese turned the tables on the ducks. I looked out to see a parade of nine runners -- all in a row -- with a pair of American Buff geese "herding" them toward the runs.

Congratulations to your wife for choosing cool ducks -- and for a husband who built a nice coop and run!

Thank you very much for the Kudos! I need to create an article about my Duck-platform next, but that will be a very time-consuming task, as i went from a chicken-cube to a platform with chicken-wire to a platform with three walls to what i have now. And i'm still not done…
