Grit for free range chicks???

I have some 6 weeks old chicks. We live in sunny Florida so on days like today I let them free range in the yard. They are in chicken heaven! Loving it.
They are still on starter feed for their main source of food but they are finding all kinds of intresting things out in the yard.
Should I be offering them some kind of grit in addition to the feed???????????
