I gave willow a bath with flea and tick shampoo a few times, since I found a Tick on her after we got home from Tennessee

I bet it's hard to find ticks on a dog with so much hair! What flea and tick preventative are you using?

You don't have ticks where you live? We just pull them off here. I swear they are the state insect in Wisconsin.

Not really, I've never had a tick on me or any of the animals here. If there are ticks in FL they aren’t where I live I guess.

Definitely, I searched her the day we were leaving for any but didn't find any. Then 2 or 3 days later I was running my hand down her back and found it. I'm not using any preventive, I couldn't find one I felt safe using.

Yeah

One of the people I'm dog sitting for had their previous dog die from a snake bite after getting loose.

Yeah, ticks come out here when it's cooler at night, like in the 40s and 50s.

I will take the ticks than. That's much too warm for my icy Wisconsin blood. I'm already dreaming of a nice blizzard.
