Hi Everyone, I have'nt read past page 5 yet but I have a question for poodle owners. I have a standard black male, last time I took him to the groomers I checked inside his ears while still there and was told they no longer pull the hair from them because they need the hair for filtering. Does anyone know if this is a new thing because I thought it was always done. ? thanks

I aim for twice a week but I'd monitor your dog, if they seem dirty clean them more. I would do at least once a week though.

My pups are cleaned once or twice a week depending on the time of year. If its more wet twice a week.
Wow, that seems like a lot. Is cleaning the ears this often recommended only for floppy-eared dogs? My dogs' ears almost never need cleaning. Their ears get washed when they get a bath.

I don't wash the ears when I do bathes to avoid getting too much moisture in them, I wouldn't know for digs without floppy ears though
