He hates it lol he will occasionally put his paws in and wade a bit but he won’t swim LOL
Wish I had some footage of my bulldog mix Murphy. She climbs in the 50 gallon stock tank and lays down. Looks like an alligator floating, than suddenly she bursts out and does crazy zoomies. She's hard to keep out of it in the summer.

Whatever Denver is licking her paw for she has licked it more. And now has started on the top. So she got a paw soak with Skouts Honor probiotic shampoo. And ill have to get some oatmeal shampoo+ epsom salt(epsom salt helped with the last paw issue)

The top. Its a lot redder than the picture shows.

My one dog started licking her paws last fall. Never figured out why. We did apoquel for a month, and a couple of months of an antihistamine. She also got a couple of pendex injections. It's stopped now thankfully. Never figured out why.

One of the things that I was given to help her was a mousse that contained chorhexidine. It literally was chemically burning her. I didn't catch on until I had used it a few times. Vet said some dogs react like that. Most it helps. Took a longer while for her to help from that. My other dog chews her feet and it helps her. Feet chewing is definitely irritating.

Ill be calling our vet if the soaks dont help.

The only thing that changed is the environment.
We changed food after she started so i dont believe its the food.
And its only one paw which is weird.

Ill have to look into the mousse

I have paw ointments to. But she already had season allergies and ive dealt with so many hotspots to add another allergy🤦‍♀️

It's all frustrating for sure. Some dogs will start licking paws to self sooth, or because of pain. So that's always a possibility too. You may want to check for tick diseases. Mine will lick their paws more because I assume they hurt when they are positive. The move may have stressed her out a bit. That would also cause the immune system to flair up.

Ill definitely have her checked for tick diseases if it doesnt go away. Ill probably have her checked anyway.

Im hoping its just her anxiety
