Guinea talk.

Thanks everyone. I'm so glad you were able to save Echo that is so scarey. You were lucky to be there when it happened. I'm sorry to hear about your brahma passing away. The sour crop is very hard to treat. I've never had a success in trying to treat. I did pull Nugget threw when she had a impacted crop but it wasn't sour.

Dan your keets are so cute. I to love to see them all stretched out when they sleep. They sure look comfortable when they do that.

I hope everyone has a nice day I am going to post a pic of Nugget wearing her apron. The apron helps to protect their feathers she had a bald spot from the rooster jumping her. The apron was made by a fellow byc lady.

Wow thats great Martinspoultry your getting 10 new keets. I can't imagine the whole flock wanting to come in my house.

Spiderman and Mary Jane just went outside after an hour of petting and hugging. Spiderman is not picky you can pet him anywhere he is not crazy about being petted on his horn but he'll let you. Mary Jane has to supervise her pets that's enough there now move over here.

Everytime Spiderman makes his sounds his waddles move. That is so cute to watch. Those two are characters that's for sure.

I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday.

Yeah, we want a large flock of them. Our neighbors aren't to crazy over them but oh well they blast music at 7 am sometimes so this is fair play. I love being on 2 acres on the side of a mountain, lots of running space for everyone. I am hoping to get my hands on some large river boulders for my driveway and along the road line of the property to protect everything and make it look nice. This summer or spring I am going to be buying more fruit trees as well then fence in the area with a screen over top so I can lock the guineas or ducks out there and let them protect my trees from the nasty bugs that ate them into shock last year.

I love reading the stories about those two I wish mine were a little more tame but I am getting there, Charlie lets me pet him at feeding time and hold him on his terms. But if it is not then its a machine gun in my ear which is not fun.

So happy everyone is enjoying the tread I started. Sorry I haven't been posting. I just got out of the hospital today. I was life flighted to Pittsburgh about two weeks ago. I was in a car accident then stated to have seizures. But I am doing good now. Still looking for guineas after Maddison died.

So sorry to hear about your accident but glad you are doing well. You take care I think Rhonda is still planning on giving you the 4 guineas she has.

This thread that you started is still going strong. We have a nice group of people that love their guineas.
