There are now 8 keets out of the nine eggs. :yesss: I think the last egg has a pip but I'm not sure. One of the keets is lavender! :ep

Did your 9th keet ever hatch? What other colors did you get? You'll have to post some pics of your keets if you get a chance! I have a few lavenders too..it's one of my favorite guinea colors!

I won't be hatching any this spring. I already have 30 chickens, I don't think more would fit in the coop!

Aruacana she looks to be mixed becaUse she is huge but that could just be her normal size.
Last night royally stunk though we had someone drive drunk plow from our neighbors driveway and colevert flew over our back driveway, driving through our front yard and totalled my truck and caused major damage to james' truck. Luckily he didnt hit the house.
I think the arucanas lay blue eggs. They are so pretty.

I'm sorry about the accident. I hope he has good insurence to pay for your truck and your husbands too. Did they arrest him? You are lucky he didn't hit the house.

Awwww...so cute! Most of them do look to be pearl grays with the exception of the lighter colored (lavender) one.
Here is a great website that lists pictures and descriptions of keet and adult guinea colors:

:) Thanks.

That's what I thought. I wonder if they carry the lavender gene?
