I understand; I have the same issue, and I posted an apology on the other thread, and it applies here as well.

I think he/she wasn't attempting to belittle the Holocaust, just using an example that they found fitting. There were actually several examples of armed Jewish uprising, though, especially the famous Warsaw uprising.

The point being that in Warsaw they decided to not die as sheep. I don't think they ever thought they would win.

Please stop trivializing the Holocaust.

The bottom line is we NEED stricter mental health laws...
My father told me stories about the state coming and hauling off people never to be seen again (institutionalized) in the 40's that everyone in town knew was crazy. God knows what those prevented.

I knew 2 brothers that were as crazy as they get and the best thing that happenned to them is one shot the other in the guts with a .44magnum and the shooter got life... they were playing quickdraw. Every time I hear about the cops shooting a whackjob I think of the money they saved us and one less parollee going psycho.
