Just picked up a savage 99 in .300 savage.
Unfortunately a boating accident happened. Never got to fire a shot...

It might have made it. I took those pics just after I refinished those two. The Cooey was my father in law's, it was quite a beat up rusty relic when I got, but it shoots quite well.

A little off subject but the family is going offshore next week to do some serious fishing.

Ya'll should have a blast. We fished with Capt. Eddie Burger a few years ago and had a great trip. Caught tuna, Mahi, Cobia, and snapper....
