The funny thing is criminals don't feel that the laws apply to them, so how would registering or test taking prevent crime????.
The right to bear arms and protect ourselves is written in the constitution (which doesn't mean much to many Americans anymore), owning or driving a vehichle is not a right, it's a privledge.

I couldn't agree more. I think if the founding fathers could see what their wonderful country is becoming, they would be sad and outraged. They gave their wealth and their families and their lives to grant this land incredible freedoms; we cannot just let them be taken again. May as well go back to being subjects in Britain, if that's the case.
Just my 2 cents. Criminals do not use guns that are registered to them to commit crimes. Only law abiding citizens have guns that are registered to them.
The supreme court clams that the 2nd amendment give the states fthe right to have an armed melitia not the people. They clam the words "the people" in the constitution refers to the states. They have been fussing over this for 100+ years.
Germany made the same laws just before the holocaust. I'm sure some one knows the quote from Hitler about being safer because of complete gun registration.

rebelcowboysnb- i have heard that before but the only flaw with the SC reasoning is the second ammenment says the people not the state. If they wanted to go that way then i guess the state would have to rise up itse;f, without the people in it.
