I ran a pie business out of my house for a year. I made 100's of apple, blue berry, strawberry rubarbh, and black berry. And made quite a bit of $ doing it and still get orders three years after I have stopped. I have loved baking and cooking all my life and my Mom is a fantastic cook. I am only 16 years old and a guy so no your not alone

Our two teenage boys and I made homemade pizza pockets for dinner tonight. We have a list of meals posted on the refrigerator door that we made up before we went shopping last time. We bought everything needed to make about 30 dinner menus. The four of us tend to take turns turn cooking. When we tell the boys to cook dinner their biggest problem is figuring out what to cook. With the menus posted on the refrigerator we tell them to pick something and get to it.

Neither me or Justin can cook. Although I do try every meal is a struggle. If you are looking for a room to rent when it comes time to move out your welcome to stay here free as long as you make delicious cookies.

My Parents made my brothers take Home Ec in school. They also made my sisters and I take Auto and Wood Shop.

My brother got the basics cooking wise, and I got the basics auto maintenance wise so he wouldn't starve and I wouldn't be helpless with car stuff. I had to help with outside chores and he had to help with inside chores.

I also wasn't allowed to drive solo till I proved (by doing it) that I could change a tire, check the fluid levels, change the oil, and set the gap on the spark plugs, (and put the wires back properly). I thought changing the oil and spark plugs was a bit much, but my dad said it was so I'd appreciate what it took to keep an engine running properly, ....I think the car just needed a tune up and that's how he got someone else to do it!

I wonder how much Emeral Lugasi makes? Bet it's more than a buck two ninety eight! If you enjoy doing it, do it! (and yes, women REALLY appreciate even a simple meal being cooked for them!)
