Ha! My week-olds found their wings...what a riot!

LOL Mine are three weeks old, and all started trying to fly last week. MAN do they learn fast...here's one of my troublemakers (whom I've decided will be properly named "Trouble" as she's the leader of the pack.lol) showing her stuff last week.

At least I'm calling her a "she" for now because that's what they TOLD me she was..lol
The others were all like..."whoa, how'd you do that?" And the first time she flew OUT of the pen, she FREAKED out. lol So I moved the feeders to the far, back corner and added another level of panels! lol
Now the ALL eyeball the cage when I come in and take down two of the panels to feed them. lol I think it won't be long. lol

I have my 3 week old chicks in a brooder on the floor in the bathroom. I walked in this morning with a little bowl of mashed up boiled egg. As soon as I opened the top, one flew out and landed on my wrist right by the bowl and started helping it self to the egg. It happened so fast, I was shocked.
