So sorry to hear...We have 4 right now and they are pets. But we plan to get some meat chickens this spring...I will not get attached I will not get attached!!!!.......

thank you for all your good feed back. I have another one that is really sick and we may need to put her down.. I am so very sad...I hate this part of pet care and farm stuff in general.. I am adjusting to farm life but it is kinda hard for me. you sure dont waste as much food when you have to grow it or kill it to eat... now if I could just find a way to make the food I grow or harvest not have as many calories :O hate this getting older I am just sure someone stole my body and left me my mom's
