Half Shell Hatch-A-Long! (Caution, unsuccessful, please read whole thread before attempting)

It fits plenty for me, lol! My parents might kill me if I even hatched 22 eggs at once

I have 2 that fit 42 with the turner and about 50+ without

Yeah, I got it yesterday, lol. Do you have your instruction manual? It says the version on the top. Mine says version 3. What does yours say? It's in the upper right hand corner. That one is version 4 I think? It's the newest model.

This wouldn’t fit enough eggs for me

You know, I thought about getting a much bigger one...until I remembered how much I do not like a brooder in the house!
I much prefer to have the hens raise the babies and not have to deal with a brooder at all, but well, that means I have to have a broody breed and at least one hen who can take the hatchlings. No electricity in the barn or shed and no garage is one thing I really miss from my old farm.

Yep, mine is printed in the same spot.
If I remember right, the only difference is the shape of the top. But don't quote me on that, I haven't actually seen the other versions.

I have a shed my chicks go in so I don’t have to worry about that part.

Yeah that might have been it. I'm kinda excited to try the led on top, it's super bright. Waiting for it to get dark. Fingers crossed I don't throw it on the wooden floor! Lol

I LOVE how whisper quiet it is.

So far I haven't heard the alarm. Will probably jump out of my socks when I do.

I've been running 3 of them for almost 2 years now and I've only heard it once so there's really no telling what in the world I did. I didn't have any other incubators running in there at the time though so it had to be that.

EDIT: when I say no other incubators, I mean I only had 3 Nurture Right 360s running, so it had to be one of them. lol

Yep, that's the newest model with the dome top. It's version 1.0NU I think.
