That was my thought too.Man what the heck. I’m so sorry! There must be a reason both quit on the exact same day. That isn’t just coincidence.

I need blue and greenThank you.
I really miss having a more diverse flock at the moment. Eventually I will get back to collecting a daily basket of eggs that look just like it. I LOVE a colorful egg carton!
Idk. It's sad they made it so far. I got kinda attached since I saw it everyday. I put my next oldest blrw egg on lockdown today. My other 3 are on day 16 today. Have you ever heard that incubating ducks with chickens is bad because the ducks spread bacteria? La Fleche was talking about it in another thread. I had never heard it before. I always set the ducks and set the chickens a week into the ducks incubation so I can lockdown together. I've never had problems. I wonder if it could have contributed though it it's true.Man what the heck. I’m so sorry! There must be a reason both quit on the exact same day. That isn’t just coincidence.
I’ve never heard that and I hatch ducks with chicken eggs all the time. I’ve never had an issue. I had a 100% hatch with the duck eggs last week. Interesting that someone said this. Do they have anything to back it up?Idk. It's sad they made it so far. I got kinda attached since I saw it everyday. I put my next oldest blrw egg on lockdown today. My other 3 are on day 16 today. You're right. I knew that going in, but, I got attached lol. I would like to try again sometime maybe. I don't know why they quit in day 18 though. What could have went wrong? Good luck with your geese. I think incubating upright ins carton and not turning for a few days would be your best bet.I'm so so sorry! That's what is so tough about experimenting during hatches. Sometimes it doesn't work out. I myself have done several experiments that were not recommended, some work out and some don't. I currently have a box full of goose eggs with completely detached air cells and I'm finding I'm quite stressed about starting this hatch because the last time I tried to hatch one that was completely lose it made it through quite a lot of incubation and then quit right at the end.
I'll link the thread. I have done it before just fine too. My ducks are hatching right now and they've been touching the chickens the whole time.I’ve never heard that and I hatch ducks with chicken eggs all the time. I’ve never had an issue. I’d take their info with a grain of salt. It’s not a well known fact since several people on here do it. I wouldn’t say the duck eggs caused your issueI'll link the thread. I have done it before just fine too. My ducks are hatching right now and they've been touching the chickens the whole time.
