I've been trying to find out more about whether you can see the bullseye around the germal disk
Here is an example of a fertile quiter recently. I believe contamination.

I'm pretty confident in my assessment that the three were indeed infertile, and the fourth probably was fertile.
@mlm Mike @BantyChooks @WVduckchick @Farmer Connie what do you guys think?
I try to candle once and late into bation. I rarely get to see the early stages of developement. As well as the majority of my set eggs are brown, giving me limited visual inspection.

It is rare at this point when I late candle to have any quiters within the eggs chosen to remain. I discard of underdeveloped mass and choose to keep the most viable formations, mass wise.

There is a chance I've thrown out live eggs, but I don't crack them open to confirm.

Call ducks have to be my most stressful.

p.s. My 25 call eggs on day 17 are looking good! Although some look much further along than others. I swear I'm thinking its light colored ones (silvers, pastels) as opposed to dark colored ones (greys, blues). possible??
interesting, we may have to do more test hatches and find out :pop

i'm not getting any eggs
i might get 1 chicken egg per day if i'm lucky

Are they still scared egg-less from the attack? or just the ones you have left are too young?

I had so many spring broodies, alot of those pullets are laying now. I have way too many eggs.
