Halloween Hatch-A-Long 2017

Ok so I am a little behind the rest lol. I got home and counted 6 chicks and a turkey hatched

so I got everything ready to transfer and as I was gathering them up I realized 2 more had hatched!

2 turkens!

This is unrelated to my hatch...but thought I would share a pic of my nephew at trunk or treat yesterday, he is holding one of my silkies who I dyed orange yesterday. Her name is Q-tip. I had a "Lawson Poultry Farm" trunk with 2 live silkies for the kids to pet. It was a hit!!!!

Ok left for a little while and came home to find the black turken dead??!? Wth??? Oh well two more hatched another turkey and another turken.... yeah!

You didn't see the turkey in the back craning it's head to see over??? I had 2 turkeys hatched but one died....... I was lazy and left the heating pad flat. The only thing I could figure is it overheated??? WTH? Fixed my heating pad into the broody cave hope that fixes my mysterious dead issue.... sigh one turkey yet to hatch. Here is hoping
