Oh noooooo! Are those eggs from your own ducks, or did you have to buy them? Thats just... ugh! So sorry!

They were eggs that I bought. Along with chicken, quail, and guinea eggs. I lost $182 worth of eggs!

Aaaaaaaa!!! My eggs were supposed to be delivered TODAY! I just tracked them online and called directly to USPS to track and was told to contact the seller. : (

I'm sure it will all get worked out BUT ... they won't hatch on Halloween as planned. : (

I guess this is why its better to hatch together as a group. It helps us to get through the ups and downs.

My eggs are supposed to come Thursday, but they're Serama eggs, and have a reputation for hatching early, so I'm hoping for one day early so they can be Halloween Chicks, LOL

Ill be taking today to procure as many eggs as i can jam in my cooler-bator. My girls have slowed way down so I may get some from a friend

I guess I can join here. I just got my 12 mixed silky eggs in the mail today. Only one was cracked so I have 11. Post office totally ignored the priority mail label. Wahhhhhhh!

They were supposed to be here by Saturday so we'll see how they do. Seller was very nice even though it totally wasn't her fault. She said if they don't hatch she would send me another dozen just for the postage. Anyway, hoping for the best!

I've got 9 coturnix eggs I was planning on setting today. I'll be staggering another couple batches of 7 or so for the next 2 weeks, but my first batch goes in today. They should hatch around the 27th or 28th, but it's still close to halloween.

First every try hatching, and a first run for my homemade cabinet bator. Here's hoping!

Ill be setting mine when I get home tonight so prolly around midnight. Up to 30 that hatched from the last set. 14 in the bator from the last setting on the 3rd. prolly adding 20 more tonight for the halloween hatch
