Ugh! I'm sorry 'bout that MCF (sorry for abbreviation, LOL) Well, I hope they weren't expensive? And hope you'll try again, only a few days behind us!

Oh well, Dread, when they get there, they get there, I guess, but please hang out with us anyway. It just makes the fun last longer

Naw they were my own & a friends. I'm setting a big set tomorrow at his store and I guess Ill be setting another batch next week too if i can build up enough eggs in time.

Cool I'm excited to see these little Seramas I've got cookin in the oven. They're almost 3 weeks behind the one that hatched 2 days ago, so it'll be fun to see the size difference

68 eggs to set tomorrow. guessing my girls will give me a couple in the morning

I came home from class tonight to a broody hen! So apparently I will have the 2 chicks I hatched last batch, whatever hatches out of the dozen + I'm getting from MPC (whenever they finally get here), AND a few from Barbara. Phew. I didn't plan this many babies! lol

I just candled again tonight, and the 10 I thought were good, still look good with movement in each one. Of the 3 I didn't think were good anymore, one was good! And it was #13!!! I'm so glad! It's too bad that I don't have a total count of 13 but that's ok, #13, the pride and joy of my Halloween hatch is still with me!

So I now have a total of 11 Serama eggs that are still going strong!

Out of all my halloween hatch eggs, the kiddos managed to kill them all. The last 4 i candled tonight all quitters. 3 from my 10/3 set just went into lockdown but i have serious doubts after what they been through. :/

Oh and i did set 70 on thursday follow along on the new thread if ya want https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...h-us-last-big-sets-of-the-year-10-18-to-10-31. Im going to put in another set this thursday and that should be my last big set of the year. Numbers on that hatch tbd.
