very nice!!!! we are all very excited for our "spooky" hatch lulz!!
The room where my bator is get's very cold at night, but i have the bator in a closet. I check it all the time, but it looks like i got "good" LG forced air bator...lulz. I've seen soooooooo many posts here on BYC about how their LG bators are crap, and how they just want to smash them because they make them so mad. But my LG forced air bator with auto turner seemes to be woring out 110% for me. First hatch i got from it was about an 85 to 90% hatch rate and everything seems to be going swimmingly on this 2nd hatch for me.

So, what all incubators are we all using for our Halloween hatches? Did we go frugal and are hatching out of a homemade incubator?? Did we go cheap and go for the hit and miss LG bators?? Or how about you big spenders out there?? How are you Hovabators doing??

I have a forced air Hovabator and still air LG that I use for my incubators. I also have a 20 year old still air Hovabator (mine when I was a kid) that I use for my hatcher. Still works!

I have 2 Little Giant Still Air units I use for hatchers and emergencies where I have too many eggs. My main incubator is a Hovabator forced air with a turner.

Right now, I have one goose egg in a Little Giant and the other Little Giant is filled with this week's locked down eggs. The Hovabator has duck eggs that are waiting for lock down, eggs I set on the 1st, and the eggs I have for the Halloween hatch (19 was the final count).

I am currently using 2 Hovabators with forced air and egg turners, and then I move them to the hatcher. I have another one (Hovabator) that is not yet unpackaged. (It was a gift).

I posted at 5:11PM my time (central) (about 2 1/2 hours ago). They PMs came in quickly after that. Actually, the first 2 came at the same minute I posted 5:11PM, then 5:12, and so on. MANY even PMd me more than once.

About the incubators .... Do you all like the still air to hatch with, or do you prefer the fan? I see forced air to incubate, and still air to hatch?
