Yeah, I have been doing that too.

Those basters are really nice, I got mine at the $$ store the other day & it has measurements on it.

I have been keeping it between 35 - 40, I just checked again & it is 41 & the temp is at 100.6*

Grrrr 98.8 and 32. Bumped it a bit.

The wee blue egg is IN the lead, largest flipper, largest air cell. I'm dry hatching so the humidity is okay but that darn temp... PC fan should get here today or tomorrow. With the temp dropping like that this hatch will take all of 25-28 days I swear. Well, except for speed racer. I expect wee blue on time or wayyyy early.

At least the partridge rock chicks will keep early ones company. This batch from welp should be here today or tomorrow. Lots of fuzziness under foot soon. I got 25 this time - oh my. If all of these are Roos you can all bet on hearing me scream in whatever state you are in, in about six weeks.

The one thing I'm NOT liking about the bator is how close the top heating element is to the eggs. Turkey eggs are nearly too big in cartons.

It's enough to make me build that homemade one just to have some room to DO things. I think that's short hand for I need a bigger bator. OMG I AM addicted!

I candled the eggs again under Midnight, and I am not so sure now. I need to do this more in the dark. I tried last night, but my flashlight was not bright enough. I made a new candling box today and have a bigger light.... I hope to try it again tonight after I get home.. after 8pm.

might have to take pictures of them.
I have looked at pictures online and I have a sinking feeling.

Uh sure...and ... tonight

I actually can't candle WELL tomorrow. My husband is working late and will take my LED flashlight

So I will candle tonight and tell you my findings and HOPEFULLY I can get a good pic!!

Me too!

I'll be candling tomorrow....I'm really bummed though. I bought some eggs off of ebay last week (ok, sat.) and they should have been here by now. Well, I checked the Paypal details and for some reason Paypal used my old address as the shipping address????? I'm soooo upset! I tried messaging the person to let them know of the change in the off chance that they hadn't sent the eggs yet (which would also kind of tick me off)

Anyhow, I may just have the 4 more to add to my 14 BO's tomorrow!
