Halloween ~ Hatch Day!

I've only seen one of mine rock so far, and I have them flat. But, I very well could have missed it.

I would think that the carton would hold them pretty stable?? Just guessing, though.

I candled at day 11... I don't think that I ever posted the link. My daughter was just getting over a cold.

this is so cool.. the sound is blah and shaky though.. but who cares, the egg is something else!

Yeah I don't think the carton would allow them to move very much. I just set mine on the wire, and they rock and roll all over the place! Not now, of course. Most of my halloween babies are under a hen, and the 3 in the bator are a few days delayed!

Kelley because I am soooooo freaked out by the power loss the other night, I admit it. I took them out of the cartons so I could see if any of them were moving at all.

I think, maybe, just maybe a couple of them are moving a little. Or it's wishful thinking from staring so hard... But maybe I just saw a couple of them wiggle. Oh I hope so, I'd settle for just one, really would. More would just be icing on the cake.

Chere, I'm with you...that's exactly how I feel! I keep saying these would be my miracle babies. First the PO, then my son, then the breaker flipped..not once, but like 3 times! and now moving them into the hatcher that I'm neurotically trying to control the temp of....

This is almost worse than childbirth!

I think I saw this same question on another post, but I had one that was from a hen that had a 'V' shaped air sac. It went down both sides of the egg over halway, and in the center it was normal. This one of yours is in an incubator, correct? If so, it is probably something to do with the egg itself. Was it a shipped egg? Maybe it got damaged during shipping.
