I even waited an extra two hours before taking a second dose.
Huh, weird.
Really? The label directions actually said I could take more than that, but I didn't need it.

Yep, just two.Actually yeah maybe it’s not that much. Only like 2 right? 1000 mg just sounds like so much but I always forget the pills are usually like 500 or 250 so really it’s only like 2-4
Whatever happens, it sure messes me up for a few hours! Not fun. Not something I like repeating.Maybe you’re one of the weird cases where it’s able to break the blood brain barrier and metabolize.![]()
Okay, I was wrong. Last time I got "high" I took 1000 mg acetaminophen, 200 mg ibuprofen, and then the same 8 hours later. Directions on the bottle said it was fine, so if I've given myself fatal liver damage, blame them. Also note that I rarely take this much, only when I really need it. I have to be in pain bad enough to cause vomiting before I'll reach for meds. I'm no junkie. (Promise.)![]()
Tried lower dosages, repeatedly. It takes the edges off but that's all. I do get by with less in most cases, though......really depends on the cause/type of pain in how to treat it.....max dosage on tylenol is 2400mg in 24 hours so my guess is you are safe from liver damage.....most pain is actually caused by inflammation so lower dose(500 mg) acetaminophen with 600mg ibuprofen may be more effective and less risk of ADR
Eh, I take those doomsday warnings with a grain of salt. That stuff scares me. Supposedly my mom once had a kidney doctor say to never take Advil and even one can do a lot of damage.
Tylenol is bad for liver.
