the thing with hatchabatch is that it starts at day 1 and not day zero......if you did not “manually” calculate the set date to accommodate the difference, it will have you “hovering” over the incubator a day early!!!

I started it on Friday instead of Thursday so it was started on the right day. I'm on day 2 now. Day 4 will be Monday night

I definitely won't see anything until after day 4 when things are completely obvious. I'm excited for day 4. I did look at one of my eggs today to see if I saw anything. You definitely have to be a pro to see anything at day 2

awesome!! i’m glad you learned that “glitch” early on......if you use pc or droid, @texaskiki can help you with a more detailed program/app.....it’s not available for apple though so hatchabatch is the best we’ve got!

I understand how Hatchabatch works, so I don’t hover too soon. I only got confused when I tried changing the start day.

There was a temp spiked to 104°, but it’s fine now. I just unwrapped it. I doubt damage was done.

Three older quail eggs are going in tomorrow.
