I may have let a 4-y-o use them. :oops: It proves they work.
 
Can't remeber if I posted these here or not but I had 8 of my Silkie eggs hatch on the 17th!

I sold all of them on Tuesday just gone except three (one white and two gold) that I wanted to keep a little longer as growouts, which is these three:

I've got more due to hatch on the 30th!
 
Oh, I've looked. They are really nice looking birds.
I think quail might put me over the edge. I Can't imagine how stressed I'd be, trying not to spread germs between them and my chickens.
Quail stay in cages.
They won't be out free ranging.

Get some.
 
An area nearby. Darn touchy touch screen phone.
Quail are messy. Our quail coops are in the chicken run and the chickens clean up the messy quail food spills. The chickens love the game bird feed the quail kick out.

The disease transmission is a concern. Try it and see if you have an issue.
