do you keep a stuffed chicken in your emergency supplies?? great company for those early screamers!!!Vince is awake, and yelling again.
yes a dozen is a good number!! did you check what breeds are available for your shipping week?
If I were to order, I’d get the ... whatever they call the assortment of late hatchers. I can handle everything from meat chickens to geese, so it would be cool to see what I got.
Yeah, that’s the one. That’s what I figured! Although I was so tempted to get 24 in case some didn’t hatch haha but I think 12 is a good number. Didn’t want to spend a ton of money for my first hatch either. And no I didn’t but that is an excellent idea!! Every single other egg was sold out which is why I got the assortment, though I probably would have chosen it anyway cause it’s more fun, but I didn’t think to look at the available chicks lol
They have this one.

@KDOGG331....i had forgotten that they switched to assortment only in November......I got BO, BR, RIR,BA, and EE in my december assortment. I lucked out on my October and got a Welsummer.....i had a smudged one that i thought was a SS but turned out RIR......between both hatches, I got 11/15 hatch and 75% boys!! they were fun chicks.....my girls were rehomed and my boys were quite tasty!!
Yeah, that’s the one.
That is why I didn’t get them when I had my original flock. Turkeys and chickens were my limit. Life is so much different now.
