To be fair, it has to be both Advil and tylenol at once before I start going on about the invisible monsters in the corner.

Isn’t that dangerous taking both at once!? No wonder you react! I thought you weren’t supposed to take different ones together and definitely not more than 2 at a time haha

Also, to get back to hatching for a sec, turns out my thermometer pooped the bed.

Thought it was just a dead battery so ordered a replacement but when we opened it the battery was all corroded or at least part of it and was covered in that white crusty stuff.

No idea how that happened.

I may have accidentally left it or the incubator on? And in the sun? And the probe was still unraveled and inside the incubator even though the bator was off but point is it wasn’t put away nicely.

But dad says none of that should do it?

Idk.

I feel like leaving it on for weeks or months could??

But it was fairly new and I had literally barely used it at all. So I feel like it shouldn’t just corrode like that....

But ah well. No matter. Luckily I also ordered a new thermometer when I ordered the battery just in case and thank goodness I did since I ended up needing it!!

Anyway, just put it in and as expected it is reading quite high!!

Thinking I should lower the temp on the bator? Or maybe try it in different spots first? Maybe get one of those water wiggles things and test that??

Hey @BantyChooks do you guys have Halloween there? If so, what are you doing for it? lol

We do but I don't celebrate. When I lived in town, I used to buy candy for the trick-or-treaters, but they don't come out here so I get to just buy enough discount candy for myself and no more.

Nah, they are cleared by different parts of the body so you can take both at once safely. I never take more than recommended dose for each, but for some reason it manages to get me thoroughly high.

Also is it normal for the temperature to fluctuate so much? Right now the incubator is reading 99.7 and the spot check is reading 101.2 and humidity 27% but a second ago it was 99.6 and 101.1 and actually just went back down to that. Before that it was 99.5 and it was 99.7 before that too. And humidity was 25% earlier. Everything seems to keep going up and down a couple points constantly??

theoretically when 800mg of “advil” is taken concurrently with 1000 mg of “tylenol” , it has the same analgesic effect as an “opioid”

The only trick or treaters we used to get were our friends and we’d all go together and go to each other’s houses and through the neighborhood and one hosted a party every year but they all moved away/grew up haha

OMG that is a ton!! People take that much at once!? Wouldn’t that cause liver or kidney damage!? I get scared to even take 3 a ton once lmao two doesn’t really work for me anymore even with excedrin but I won’t take 3?
