:yesss:

And hopefully she’s not :lau
She's my husband's chicken, he picked her out. She's obnoxious. She doesn't shut up all day. Then my boys try to mate and she flips out then everyone runs in the coop because she sounds the alarm  She is louder than the roosters, some days I wish she had a remote with mute on it.

OMG she sounds obnoxious!!! LOL

I’m sorry. :hugs

I absolutely loved my Barred Rock and I don’t remember her being loud or flighty or anything. She was very smart. Didn’t like being held though but great later and super smart. Not loud. Could sometimes be a bit bossy to the other birds but not too bad. The Australorps are worse and can be real bullies. But better now.

My Australorps are also loud or at least very chatty and talkative and my new Delaware pullet is very, very loud. She was not blessed with a pretty voice :lau

All the hens do the usual bawk bawk bawk to talk to me when I come out but they have a nice, gentle chatter. Low, quiet, soft voice. She sounds like she’s squawking or screaming or something!!

And she always sounds pissed lol

My Australorps can (and have) do a louder, harsher, pissed off squawk like her when they are mad about something but this seems to be the poor girls default voice. :lau

And one of the EEs has a VERY loud egg song (and she goes on and on too!! Very lengthy egg song in addition to loud lol) and they can be pretty flighty but even they’re not too bad haha

I loved my BR. lost her in July due to unknown reasons :hit

We had an Australorp 5 years ago that was a little meanie. She would peck everyone one by one on their head :smackshe was a little bully.

I don't think I really have any bullies anymore. I have a loaner who hangs alone all day every day. Sometimes it pretends it's a duck and hangs out by the pond with my ducks. She's odd.

I have a RSL who cleans everyone's face for them. They all come running to her and one by one she cleans them up... One of her babies was doing this yesterday to the chicks, I about passed out from laughing so hard. It's the chick I want to keep too so I'll have a new face cleaner for years to come.
