Halloween/Thanksgiving Hatch-a-Long 2019

Have you hatched any yet? How are they with hatching? Most or a few. I just received my notification the eggs shipped! :celebrate

I’ve never hatched anything before, from Meyer or otherwise. This will be my first time ever hatching anything. :D

Mine shipped at 11 and apparently they included an extra one! :D

I need to look at Meyers in the spring for hatching eggs. I want certain breeds

They have a lot of good ones! Also Cackle has TONS! I looked at their site too but they’re sold out of most and also they were pretty expensive. But they have a huge variety.

Meyer does too ha

I am not sure what I'll get but wanted to give it a whirl first. I saw theat Meyers has a new breed now.

Yeah I just saw that recently too. Seems cool.

I think that they add an extra one just in case one brakes during shipping, but I usually think that none break so you just get an extra chick.

I can't wait to see what your experiences, you should do a thread for just your hatch :lau you're going to be crazy like I was. I annoyed 99.9% of the people on BYC with my questions.

Haha probably! Either way it’s awesome!! :D

And ooooohhhh what an excellent idea!! I will do that!! :D

And hahaha I’m sure I probably will too!!

That and I’ll probably annoy/upset people that I bought the eggs to begin with :lau :D

I saw your fish yesterday! I want goldfish in my duck pond we are building but I think they'll eat them unless I get big koi...

with new fish ponds, most start with feeder goldfish to cycle it because they are inexpensive. They grow pretty fast. trying to purchase koi or goldfish large enough to not risk getting eaten can get pretty expensive.......I don’t have ducks, but 3 of my original goldfish have survived 2 pond reworks and 1 winter outside!
