I think pranks are great...alot of fun , as long as its not used to just pick on a person ,that is disliked.

Guess we didn't have all the fact in first post......

I'm with Deerman. I'm all for a prank in good fun...but not just to be mean. That takes all the fun out of it.

Isn't one of the main complaints about most jobs that they just aren't any fun.. Management had three choices, if they knew about it. Go along, turn a blind eye or shut it down.

The way I see it, the general attitude of this thread is the result of the direction this nation has been heading, for quite some time. Under the guise of compassion and caring, we have removed the drive for competiition and the acceptance of what we used to know as, Life in general. We all get forced into this little box, controlled by rules and regulations.

We can only surmise how it all went down, but in my mind's eye, this guy, once he got wind of a Halloween celebration, decided to control the show, and wanted to know every detail of who was going to do what, and probably always had a better of suggestion of how someone could do their costume....I have a sister like that...Every gathering has to be her party, or she isn't coming.

I am amazed at the cooperation, which was achieved, to be able to pull this harmless prank off. Nobody spilled the beans, by accident I congratulate them on the teamwork.

My gosh. I would hate to work with some of yall. And in turn, yall would hate to work with me!

I work with 3 other therapists in my rehab clinic. I'm the only male, so I get it the worst. We are constantly at each other with the pranks. We've stolen each others vehicles and hid them. Sabotaged each others lunches in the refrigerator. Smelly things placed in vehicles, purses or scrub pockets... Every week its something new. Except for April Fools Day...we are all so paranoid of what the others are doing that none of us actually prank each other.

As I said, I'm the only male, so I really get the brunt of it. I don't feel bullied or victimized. I love coming to work everyday cause we make each other laugh. (Plus, my homelife really sucks so its nice to be around fun people)

If we gotta be there for 10 hours a day, might as well make it fun. Be long days if we didn't like each other.

Cameron,
You guys sound like you get along like a house on fire.

I sure love a bit of fun in the workplace or at school...
Although 70 - 1 does seem a tad extreme. I've been ganged up on in the past, and it isn't very funny to be the 1, even if it was meant as a joke.

I like this one. Good point. Perhaps this prank could have gone a lot of ways it wasn't originally intended to...

LOL, My daughter went to Walmart and saw her mothers car there, having keys, she moved it over a couple aisles and back. My wife left wally-world and thought she forgot where she parked her car---took her a while to locate it.

EGGSACTLY.

The OP and co-workers were RUDE and they LIED. Really mature behavior there. Even the boss, who is apparently not mature enough to perform the job of keeping his workers on track, and dealing with the problem of the worker who is disliked.

that is so funny! some people are saying its childish and ''mean'' but even if that was me i would be laughing my head! i dont see anything wrong with that!
