Handicapped chicken looking for a companion

Ohhh im a sucker for a special needs bird! I have had several over the years. I got a partridge bantam rooster with no toes on one foot, named nubs who has been ousted from the flock since our brown/red roo who protected nubs from the other boys passed away. Nubs now spends everyday on our patio by the door to be near me, all alone, until I buckle and bring him in to sit on my lap

He would be a great companion for your hen if you weren't so far away from mn. I hope everything works out for your girl and she finds a friend

Hi, I am new to this forum, and I am very interested in acquiring one or more chickens. We have had rabbits for years, and our population was finally reduced to two, and we just lost the very old male, and still have a relatively young female. As a companion to the female, I would rather get a chicken than another rabbit. Perhaps a handicapped chicken would be the perfect thing, but we are on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

I have 2 handicapped ducks and they are a joy to take care of and give extra special attention to. If I had a chicken that needed a companion I would beg you for her, lol!
Good luck in finding a companion or good home.
