ETA - are you planning to proceed with assist, or are you going to try to let it hatch on its own first?
I'm not taking chances with this guy. They are Ravyn's eggs and all had detached air cells with only 2 making it past day 14. So I am planning on making a tiny safety hole tonight and then tomorrow I will ask Ravyn what to do next and follow her advice! Lol. I want to get them out alive no matter what it takes....hey!!!...you were supposed to be hatching calls with me this spring!!

I just hope the second and only other egg makes a internal pip too. I don't want a lone duckling. I don't have more due for another 18 days!
8 silkies out, 4 to go. (Pretty sure nothing is going to happen with the last two.)
Silkie #6 looks to have a little leg problem. Slightly spraddled maybe. Keeps ending up on his back. I've attempted to band it, (not an easy job alone and with a silkie), he was still flopping so I set him in a plastic bb food cup.
Malepo nn is still hanging in there. Not sure which way that is going to go.
Sometimes silkies have trouble getting on their feet because of their fat bottoms and short legs. I hope it's just that.
