Hands on hatching and help

It's contagious too! So if she is you might get a few more girls that want to join her.
Yes, I got it a tractor supply. It might not be but if it is, they might have a lower tolerance/resistance built up since they are younger. Are you giving them nutridrench?

Eta: meaning that, that's why it's affecting them more so the the others.

I've been giving them the save a chick stuff and a broad spectrum antibiotic. I planned on going to tractor supply today to get more because I ran out of antibiotics. I think the stuff we use treats cocci too but it's not as concentrated. It's the stuff the vet went over with me..

Still have to get the nutridrench. Getting to town can be difficult sometimes. I'm going today though.

It's the new hovabator. Do I check the air cells before I put them in the incubator or after. I've not even unwrapped them yet

I would check them right before you put them in the incubator. Actually I would unwrap them so they can breathe better and you could candle the air cells as you're unwrapping, that's just me though. :)

Also check her chest feathers.  When they get serious, they pluck their chest feathers out...  it allows their skin to make good contact with the eggs.

NONE of mine do this! Do silkies not do that? Or are mine just weird?!

Trust me, I hear that loud and clear! :gig

Scratch that I just checked. Doesn't treat cocci. I'll pick up the corrid. Does corrid treat anything else or just cocci?

I'm not sure, to be honest. Here's the pic that I went by...

Should I treat all my birds or just the sick ones?

Is it 1/3 teaspoon for a gallon of drinking water?
The severe dose (0.024%) is no less than 1.5 teaspoons per gallon. If you have a gram scale, the exact amount is 4.536 grams per gallon. Please ignore any post that says it's less than 1.5 teaspoons, 'cause they are wrong...
