Whenever I have these issues I use this step by step guide. The wrong end pip section is about half way down. I've been told an external pip in the wrong end should be counted as an internal pip also. So give it 12 to 24 hors as an internal pip then another 12 to 24 hours as the external pip. If it still hasn't hatched then it may be time to assist. Be careful when you do though. When pipped in the wrong end bleed outs are more common.

I wouldn't necessarily call that a wrong end pip. Its low, but could still have hit the air cell. I'd candle to be sure before doing any assisting.

Hi!! I'm Back! I have 16 Eggs In The Incubator, 4 of them should Hatch in a few days, 11 should Hatch in a week, and I have one clear. So far so good. 7 of the eggs are from my one Hen, 9 are from my neighbors Hen, the Neighbors Roo though is one of the 7 Chicks I gave her. My original Hen had 14 babies, so I gave my neighbor 7 and kept 7 for myself, well my neighbor had some accidents, her BF ran over a few, and one of the Hens killed some. She is down to the one Roo. I had seven too, but Coons got six of them, so I am down to one Pullet, Not Laying, The Neighbors Roo and My Pullet Are Only 4½ Months Old. Just bought a Silkie, not sure on Gender. And one of my Hens disappeared, no Feathers or anything. On the bright side, I have 4 White Leghorn Chicks.

Vertically instead of horizontally actually the chicken hatched. It may be a little crippled though. The other one has yet to hatch.

You have TWC?  We have that, but I have DVR as well. I prefer DVR cause I can fast foreward the commercials...lol I can't stand commercials. Demand comes in handy though if I forget to set the DVR, and I like the free movies, I just wish they changed out more often...lol

I have optimum not twc (it's weird because some streets are twc and some are optimum around here) and I have DVR but absolutely no idea how to use it!! Maybe you can teach me!

Well 7 more days until lockdown with my silkies I got from @RubyNala97. 12 are developing great. All swimming around with strong veining. They look really good. Can't wait for hatch. Meanwhile my orpingtons I ordered only have 3 developing out of 12. Those were from the ones that were double boxed but tore open. Hopefully the 3 hatch out ok so I Adleast get a few. Also on a non hatching note I ordered some silkie pullets from mypetchicken. I wanted to make sure I have enough females for my roosters. The last silkie I shared finally started crowing lol. The mypet chicken silkies are due here today. I got a variety pack so I'm to excited to see what colors they turn out to be.

I was going to ask how they are doing but I saw one hatched. How's the other doing?

I have optimum not twc (it's weird because some streets are twc and some are optimum around here) and I have DVR but absolutely no idea how to use it!! Maybe you can teach me!

I did finally get my pullets. All are so cute. One is weak and I'm not sure if it will make it. It's the smallest. I've been giving it nutridrench and checking on it hourly. Hopefully it pulls through. Also been dealing with paste up but I expected that since they were shipped. Most are black but one is splash and the 2nd I'm not sure if it's buff or partridge. Very strange coloring.

don't see marking where the air cell was before marking but the go in a circle when pipping the darker one looks like it could have gotten into the air cell, my darker eggs all seem to hatch about there even under a broody. is the lighter egg still moving and working on zipping? it does look like it's in the wrong end
